Weight Loss Shakes
|There is a multi-billion dollar market for the protein powder weight loss shakes. These products are geared towards weight loss and muscle building purposes. All these products compete in presenting the consumers with drinks that are loaded with health benefits and weight loss effects.
The reality is most of the people who prepared these weight loss shakes were not completely satisfied with the taste. Mixing your whey or regular protein powder with water only would make a healthy but not so tasty beverage for you to consume before or after your training session.
Now that we are heading for summer, trying to incorporate a liquid diet to detox and lose weight sounds so appealing. Going on diet that contains smoothies and juices that are made out of fruit and veggies might a bit of extreme for some of us. Adding protein powder would provide a healthier drink that keeps you feeling full longer and proved your body with protein that helps build muscles and healthy nutrients. You will probably be able to go on such a diet for a longer time than just fruit and veggies liquid diet. One point to remember though, just like juices and smoothies, you will need to consume the weight loss shakes you make right away. That is the only way to get full benefits from them.
I myself realize that drinking my protein mix after exercising would benefit my body more than just drinking smoothie or juice. Equipped with a strong blender and desire to make some interesting beverages, I started experimenting with weight loss shakes. One of my main goals is to make my drinks healthier so I wanted to add some protein to the mix. I tried a few combinations and ended up with some winners. Try them, you might like them too!
